蘇花海岸逍遙遊

　　在通過了壽卡與花東海岸長坡的考驗後，A-Team環島車隊的行程進入了比較輕鬆的第九天，由花蓮遠來飯店出發，騎到太魯閣中橫牌坊後，以遊覽車接駁到宜蘭蘇澳新站，再繼續以自行車向北前進至烏石港遊客中心，全程76公里。

　　早上天氣晴朗，花蓮的碧海、藍天和好空氣，讓人感到神清氣爽。在狄懋昌教練的陪騎下，一行人就沿著花蓮濱海自行車專用道前進，這也是繼高雄的臨海自行車道後，環島行程中所行走的第二條自行車道。沿著花蓮海岸構建的自行車道平緩無車，騎來相當輕鬆寫意，也讓大家都不自覺的放慢了踩踏的步調，放鬆心情享受這一份東海岸特有的悠閒氛圍。

　　自行車道在七星潭結束，當車隊抵達，花蓮縣政府觀光旅遊局的人員和捷安特七星潭租借站的店員們已在現場守候，歡迎車隊的到來。在短暫休息後，車隊中腳程快、體力佳的幾名成員和狄懋昌教練組成一軍騎往天祥再折返，而其他人員則稍後出發往長春祠後折返到太魯閣中橫牌坊會合收兵。接下來的蘇花公路，則由於車隊龎大，考量安全問題，因此安排以遊覽車接駁，在車上欣賞蘇花公路的美景。

　　下午四點，所有成員由蘇澳新站再度跨上單車，繼續當天後段的環島行程。當所有人騎車橫越平坦的蘭陽平原，時間已近黃昏，夕陽的餘暉照著宜蘭美麗的千里渥野和A-Team隊員們踩踏單車的身影，形成一幅恬靜祥和的田園風情畫，讓會長羅祥安都不禁要讚嘆，蘭陽平原猶如人間淨土。



Easy Tour Along Su-Hua Coastline.

After such difficult rides in reaching the summit, Shouka, and making the long uphill along Hua-Dong coastline, the ninth-day of the tour was a little easier with a steady 76-kilometer ride. The tour began from the Hualien Far Glory Hotel to the Taroko Monumental Archway. Then they took the bus ride to Ilan Suao new train station. From Suao, they continued northward cycling to Wushih Harbor Visitor Center.

Under a sunny day, every rider was in good spirit because of the view of the blue Hualien ocean, bright sky and fresh air. The A-Team riders were accompanied by the coach, Tim Ti, cycling forward along the Hualien sea-front bike trail. Following the ride along the Kaohsiung bike trail a few days ago, it was the second bike trail they had cycled. The bike trail was constructed along the Hualien coastline, the trail was smooth without any cars. Everyone rode leisurely, slowing the pace down and giving them the opportunity to enjoy the unique, relaxed atmosphere of the east coastline.

The bike trial ended at the Seven Star Lake. After the arrival at Seven Star lake, A-Team riders were welcomed by Officials of Hualien Tourism Bureau and the staff of Giant Seven Star Lake rental bike shop. After a short break, some faster and stronger riders organized a group with the coach Tim Ti to cycle to Tiansiang and returned. The other riders cycled to Changchu (Eternal Spring) Shrine and returned back to the Taroko Monumental Archway. In following Su-Hua Highway considerations of the safety of a huge cycling team had to be taken into account. As a result, they decided to take a bus tour and enjoy the sights along Su-hua coastline.

At precisely 4pm, all the A-Team members cycled again from Suao new train station to continue today’s final tour. It was the late afternoon by the time they had crossed through the flat Lanyang plain. The twilight at sunset shined upon the pedaling shadows of A-Team riders with a backdrop of a peaceful, countryside farm picture. Chairman Tony Lo exclaimed that Lanyang plain was like the purest land in the world.
