東北角美景險中遊

　　懷著即將完成環島挑戰的興奮心情，A-Team環島活動邁入第十天，由宜蘭羅東出發，沿宜32線轉台九線往北前進至基隆市，共計110公里，接下來只要完成最後一天的行程，環島活動便可大功告成。

　　環島活動進入尾聲，十天來，有人因為跌倒而擦傷，有人腰酸背痛，當然也有人膝蓋、腳踝不舒服。僅管累積了十天的疲憊，讓A-Team環島車隊的成員們略顯倦容，不過身體狀況大致都還不錯，尤其是只要一提到即將完成環島挑戰，每個人都還是難掩興奮；早上當隊員們做完早操後，還特別由會長帶隊合唱了A-Team的會歌「友情」，眾人的士氣更是高漲。

　　不過心情可不能放鬆得太早，因為雖然是倒數第二天了，但行程可並不輕鬆，全長達110公里。早上車隊由宜蘭出發後，首先遇到的仍是寬廣平坦的蘭陽平原，但不久即接上台九線北宜公路，隊員們也立刻要面對體能與操控技巧的考驗；東北角這段海岸道路沿途海景優美，不過坡度起伏不斷，路面時寬時窄，加上往來的沙石車不少，使得車隊經常面臨被逼到無路可走的狀況，片刻疏忽不得。因此當天隊伍多以縱隊前進，以維安全；不過看著大型車輛由隊員們的身旁呼嘯而過，還是讓人看得不禁為眾人的安全捏一把冷汗。

　　下午仍是陰涼的天氣，騎起車來相當舒服，雖然沙石車環伺，不過隊員們經過了十天的磨練，騎車已是越來越得心應手，像是彥豪董事長陳澤民就說，這趟環島行程騎到將結束，他感覺肌肉的痠痛逐漸下降，而順暢度則是不斷提升，當然個人的毅力與信心也與日俱增。

　　亞獵士董事長陳朝穎回想這十天的旅程，表示過去開車外出遊玩，總是來去匆匆，根本沒辦法看得到這麼多美麗風景，尤其東海岸鬼斧神工的自然美景更是讓人難忘；對於自家的輪圈產品，過去他只能聽公司的研發和市場人員報告，但在環島旅程中，由自己實際測試，他也相信未來對產品的生產、研發和可靠度，都有很大助益。

　　當天晚上，所有隊員開心的為完成十天行程而慶祝，首先由會長恭賀所有人平安順利的完成環島壯舉，接下來更特別請出車隊中完成挑戰的八位六十歲以上的長者們，慶祝他們為人生寫下值得紀念的一頁；更特別的是請他們戴上圍兜、含著奶嘴，期許他們經由騎車而返老還童、越騎越年輕。緊接著是由較年輕的隊員們為大家獻唱A-Team的會歌「友情」，最後參加環島活動的A-Team會員們，彼此在車衣上簽名留念，彷彿是回到了學生時代的畢業典禮，讓大家難得的看到了這些平日嚴謹的老闆們，展現出天真而率性的一面。

Cycling Along The Northeast Coast.

On the tenth day of the tour, every rider was excited about approaching the goal of cycling around the island. They planned a 110-kilometer ride from Luodong Ilan northward to Keelung.

In the past ten days there have been some injuries caused by falling-off, some sore backs and knees and ankle discomfort. In spite of the growing fatigue from the previous ten days, A-Team riders felt the strain but they were all in good condition. Everyone was very excited about the oncoming success of the round-island cycling challenge. After the morning exercise, Chairman Tony Lo took the lead to sing an A-Team brotherhood song, greatly boosting the group’s morale.

It was the final countdown’s second day, and the 110-kilometer ride was not easy for the group. The morning ride started from Ilan. Firstly, it was the flat Lanyang plain. Then they encountered a difficult ride which tested the group’s energy and steering techniques on Provincial Highway No. 9 Beiyi. There were fantastic sights along the northeast coastline. The gradual undulating roads, varying width of roads and numerous trucks often gave them no way to ride. They planned to proceed in a single line along the coastline working to secure every rider’s safety. The trucks bustling passed the riders made the bystanders anxious about their safety.

It was a cool afternoon ride and very comfortable. Despite having to dodge a host of trucks, the riders felt quite good on the pedaling after a tough ten-day training ride. Tektro President Gary Chen said, the eleven-day tour would come to an end soon. He felt that the muscle sores were decreasing gradually and the level of optimism was increasing continually. Of course, confidence and willpower was escalating every day.

Alex President Alex Chen recalled the past ten-day tour and said that he would not have had the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the incredible natural east coastline sights while travelling by car. In the past, he had only received the testing reports of their own-made rims from the R&D and market research staff. Now he had tested the rims himself during the cycling trip. He believed that it would be greatly beneficial to the credibility, production and R&D of their products in the future.

That night, every member celebrated the finish of the ten day tour. Chairman Tony Lo congratulated every member’s success on the challenge of cycling around the island. Afterwards a special arrangement of eight elderly riders, above 80-year olds, wore baby clothes and sucked the pacifiers: to wish the elderly rejuvenation and youth forever, to become younger and younger through cycling. Finally, every rider signed everyone else’s jersey in order to remember this event. It was just like a graduation ceremony during student times. We all had this precious chance to see these restrained owners show their natural and pure hearts.
